A film only completes its journey when it's watched — and for many NUFA members, that means bringing a projector, a screen and a generator to a trading centre far from any cinema.
Community screenings have become a quiet but essential part of NUFA's work, now reaching five districts across the region. They give filmmakers direct feedback from the very communities their stories are drawn from, and give audiences who rarely see themselves on screen a chance to do exactly that.
More screening dates are being added through the year, with priority given to districts that haven't yet hosted one.
