This policy explains how the Northern Uganda Filmmakers Association ("NUFA", "we") collects and uses personal information through this website. We aim to handle personal data in line with applicable Ugandan law, including the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

What we collect

Enquiry forms (contact, partnership, SACCO interest, industry network): name, email, telephone, organisation, your message and any details you choose to provide.
Membership applications: identity and contact details, date of birth, district, area of creative practice, experience, an optional portfolio link, a passport-style photograph, payment reference and proof of payment.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, process your application, administer membership and communicate about NUFA activities you asked about. We do not sell personal data.

Who can see it

Only authorised NUFA administrators. Uploaded documents are stored privately and are never published on the website. Membership card details (name, photograph, guild, registration number and validity period) are visible to anyone holding the private card link issued to the member.

Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information by contacting nuf.association@gmail.com.

Security

Forms are protected against spam and misuse, administrative areas require authentication, and the site should be accessed over HTTPS.
